We may collect service usage information, including bookings, provider interactions, support messages, learning preferences, quiz or study activity, device identifiers, app version, browser and operating system data, IP address, timestamps, and platform analytics. We may collect post-session notes and resources shared through Examslayers, including provider messages, categories such as grade, subject, and section, file metadata, file contents stored in our database, resource hashes, safety scan results, and in-app resource view audit logs. We may collect payment and transaction information, including payment status, transaction references, settlement records, refund records, and anti-fraud indicators. Payment card details may be processed by approved payment partners rather than stored directly by Examslayers. We may collect communication and compliance records, including legal-policy acceptances, support tickets, moderation history, complaints, disputes, and records needed for safety, fraud prevention, and audit.

How we use information We use personal information to create and manage accounts, match students and providers, process bookings and payments, support learning experiences, deliver secure in-app session resources, scan uploaded resources for safety, audit resource access, personalise communication, protect the platform, investigate fraud, respond to support queries, comply with law, and improve our products and operations. We may also use information for quality assurance, analytics, internal reporting, service planning, dispute handling, and lawful direct marketing where permitted.

  4. Sharing and disclosure We may share information with tutors or providers where reasonably required to deliver booked services or facilitate legitimate support. We may share information with infrastructure, analytics, security, communications, payment, and operational service providers acting under contractual confidentiality and data protection duties. We may disclose information where required by law, court order, regulatory process, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a restructuring, financing, merger, sale, or transfer of business assets. Examslayers does not sell personal information as a product.

  5. Retention We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, secure in-app resource access, support, finance, audit, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute management, platform security, and legitimate business records. Retention periods may differ by record type. For example, financial and compliance records may be retained longer than marketing preferences or transient support data.

  6. Security Examslayers applies reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure, and unlawful destruction. No internet or software environment can be guaranteed perfectly secure, and you remain responsible for safeguarding your device and credentials.

  7. Children and minors Where a learner is under 18, personal information may be processed on the basis of parental or guardian involvement, service delivery, and other lawful grounds under applicable law. Users must not submit another child’s personal information without proper authority.

  8. Your choices and rights Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where lawful, objection to certain processing, restriction of processing, and withdrawal from direct marketing. Some requests may be limited where Examslayers must retain records for legal, contractual, safety, fraud, finance, or operational reasons.
